Carbondale, Colorado
September 25 - 28, 2014

September 25, 2014 - On our way to Carbondale

Scenery on the way

September 25, 2014 - With temps close to 90, we blew off the warm up round and headed to Aspen to see some leaves.
It was especially pretty driving up Maroon Bells Road.

Walking path right in back of the hotel. Nova and Madison competed . . . Aspen went along to cheer lead.

In front of the hotel.

Another walk. . .l-r Ember, Duck, Aspen, Nova, Madison. . .LOOK a bear!

Our room at Quality Inn and Suites on the River in Glenwood Springs, CO. . .nice hotel and dog friendly!

Set ups at the trial.

The rings and grounds.

September 26, 2014 - On this evening walk, we saw these guys playing in the rapids.

September 27, 2014 - Shadow (Madison daughter) and Star (Liebe daughter) came to visit.
It was SO GREAT to see them. Ruth and Tom have done a fantastic job with these girls.
First two pictures are Mama Madison and daughter Shadow.
Third picture is Star and Shadow.
Fourth picture. . .While we were visiting, they layed in the cool shade. It was still in the upper 80's.

September 27, 2014 - Last evening for a walk along the Colorado River.
In picture two, Madison and Nova are looking for that bear.

September 28, 2014 - Sunday morning the weather was totally different. . .rain rain rain. This is Mt. Sopris.

The drive home was terrible. We left Carbondale at 12:30 and never got home until 5:30 (note: going up it took us 2 hours and 40 minutes).
At least we had some pretty scenery to look at.

So proud of Madison and Nova. They ran in the VERY competitive Grand Veteran classes in extremely hot weather.

More pictures are coming from the professional photographer. . .check back.
