What a fun trip we had !
Wednesday. . .scenery along I-80 in Iowa.
Wednesday night. . .first night on the road - Motel 6 in Avoca, Iowa.
I highly recommend this motel - only 3 years old - clean - and friendly people. . .it is 9 hours from Westminster, CO.
Thursday. . .rest stop in Iowa complete with a NICE dog area with no stickers!
Thursday afternoon. . .we made it. . .Interstate Center is where the shows will be. . .very close to our hotel.
This was another 6 hour drive to arrive in Bloomington, IL. The hotel is Holiday Inn Express - really nice hotel!
Friday night bbq at Penny's house. . . everyone is just arriving.
After eating, we all went outside for some laughs and fun. It may have been cool outside but it didn't dampen anyone's spirits!!! What a great time we all had.
Saturday - The day before the Prairieland Regional Specialty. . .
Greta was Winners Bitch and Best of Winners for her first 5 point major (with an entry of 13 class bitches and 8 class males).
Preston was Best of Breed (with an entry of 29 Standard Schnauzers) and he won Group 2 in the Working Group!
Saturday night Jon and Suzanne took Jodi and I to dinner at Swingers Grille. Yumm!

Greta was Best of Opposite Sex to Best Junior in Sweepstakes in puppy sweepstakes!
Preston was awarded Stud Dog with the help of his two beautiful girls, Greta and Ellie!
Sunday evening. . . banquet and raffle/auction. The food was great and a good time was had by all.
Monday. . . last day of shows before going home.

We got on the road by noon on Monday (after showing and packing up) and did the trip in reverse staying at the Motel 6 in Avoca, Iowa.
