 December 25. 2010 (almost 2.5 years old) - A wonderful Christmas update from Roland and Max aka Maximus aka Maximo aka Super Max aka Mighty Max . . . Roland and Max and mom now live in San Diego, California,where the weather suits Max just fine! They live next to a park and Max goes there almost every day to fetch the ball. When Roland says "park", Max goes nuts. Max can sit upstairs and look at the park from mom's balcony and keep an eye out for when any of his friends might be down there. San Diego is super dog friendly and Max has gone to a few restaurants where they can sit outside and watch his "people" eat. He is very clever and figures things out on his own. He knows how to push open the door to go sit on mom's balcony. . .he knows how to get into the garage when Roland is working on one of his motorcycles. Max just loves to be with his "people". Max loves to sleep in Roland's bed. He is very loyal and listens well responding to all the basic commands plus "high five". Roland and Max also enjoy jogging 2 to 3 times a week. Max is a great therapy dog for mom. . .looking after her when Roland is at work. Life couldn't be better for Max! Here are a couple clips of Max at the Dog Beach in Del Mar. August 10, 2014 - Roland and Max and friends enjoy a moon hike at Garnet Peak. Garnet Peak Trail is a 2.4 mile out and back trail located near Pine Valley, California.
