Our trip to Valparaiso, Indiana
June 21-24, 2007
for the Standard Schnauzer Club of America's National Specialty and shows



We had a wonderful trip to Valparaiso, Indiana and brought home some terrific wins and memories. . .

We left on Saturday June 16, 2007 and traveled 486 miles. Our stop for the night was in Lincoln, Nebraska. . .

On Sunday June 17, 2007 we traveled 446 miles to LaSalle, Illinois where we stopped for the night. . .

Monday June 18, 2007 we arrived in the early afternoon. Not many people were there yet. . .behind us is a prison.
I'm not sure about the significance of a cactus in Indiana but . . .

Tuesday June 19, 2007 we helped assemble the welcome bags and started our grooming.
There were butterflys everywhere and Maria got one to land on her hand.

Wednesday June 20, 2007 we were able to set up grooming inside, so time for more grooming. . . grab your name tag and welcome bag.

Thursday June 21, 2007 - it's show time. . .

Saturday June 23, 2007 - Standard Schnauzer Club of America National Specialty. . . . . . .picture taking time.

Sunday June 24, 2007 we are on the road again. We traveled 120 miles back to LaSalle, Illinois.

Monday June 25, 2007 we made it to Henderson, Nebraska which was 504 miles.

While walking Madison and Nova at the camp site, I came across some old farm equipment. . . I can never pass up a photo opportunity.
