In August 2000 Aaron allowed us to take him, YD, Korie, and Himel to Alberta, Canada so he could participate in the Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada Western Regional Specialty and Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada National Specialty. In four shows in Calgary, Aaron earned his championship by:

• Best of Breed at the Alberta Kennel Club - over specials !

After some dinosaur sight seeing east of Calgary, Aaron traveled north to Edmonton to show off the following weekend at the Westerly Dog Club where he went into "vacuum cleaner" mode and cleaned up the ribbons. In four days of dog shows, Aaron won best of breed twice, was "pulled" the first day in group and was awarded a group 4 on the second day in group. His placement was on August 11 under Judge Donna Cole from British Columbia.

Think that Aaron left an impression on the people up north, eh?

Aaron was ranked as the number 3 Standard Schnauzer in Canada in the year 2000 !
