First significant event in 2002. Korie celebrates 3 years seizure free !!! She is still a pill and chasing squirrels! There are no snakes in the back yard this summer but she loves to have her butt scratched. |

YD gives birth to 2 puppies - a girl named Madison and a boy named Nova. Korie is now an auntie for the second time. |

Korie was in a little scuffle with the 2 other females in our house. She suffered from a puncture wound in her front leg. In the scuffle she herniated a disk in her back and stopped urinating and deficating. With medication and TLC, she starts these functions on her own after 3 days. She has difficulty walking and stumbles quite often. Her mobility slowly increases over a 2 week period and the strength in her back legs slowly returns. By mid month, she is getting around quite well but will stumble occasionally. |

Korie is the energizer Standard Schnauzer, she keeps going and going and going.
Her hind legs are getting a little weaker, but she still manages to run the fence and bark at people and other dogs.
