This is the picture and story that appeared in the Lawrence, Kansas newspaper, the Lawrence Journal-World on Saturday, October 16, 1999. Many people from the Lawrence area came to the dog show to meet the famous Aaron.

A little story behind this picture. The show I believe was in Lubbock TX. There was a photographer from the AKC Gazette taking pictures all over the show. I jokingly told him to take a picture of "that outstanding Standard Schnauzer". Note, I made the request jokingly, realizing that this would never occur. Several months later, when the gazette came out, we were thoroughly excited!
