YD Canadian Wins 2000

In August 2000 YD traveled to Alberta, Canada so she could participate in the Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada Western Regional Specialty and the Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada National Specialty. In four days of shows, YD accumulated 5 points toward her needed 10 points to be a champion in Canada:

  • Winners Bitch at the Alberta Kennel Club for 2 points.
    August 5, Judge Gerald Schwartz from Ohio
  • Best of Winners at the Alberta Kennel Club for 2 points.
    August 6, Judge Michael Hill from Ontario Canada
  • Winners Bitch at the Alberta Kennel Club for 1 point.
    August 7, Judge David Strachan from Australia

Reserve Winners Bitch at the Standard Schnauzer Club of Canada National Specialty.
August 5, Judge Patrick Doniere from Nevada

Best of Breed at the Peace Arch Working/Herding Specialty in British Columbia for 2 points
October 26, Judge Richard Paquette from Ontario Canada

Best of Winners at the Lower Mainland Dog Fanciers of British Columbia. October 27, Judge Marian Hodesson from Arizona
Best of Winners at Abbotsford, British Columbia Canada, Saturday, October 28, Judge Robert Sharp from New York

YD returned to Canada again in October 2000 only this time she went to Vancouver British Columbia (Abbotsford to be exact) and finished her Canadian Championship. There were a total of four days of shows, however, on the third day and with her win, YD became a Canadian Champion!!! On the Fourth day of shows, this little winner went "win win win" all the way home.
